ICONS ONLY

ICONS ONLY is an ode to pop music and the women who make it.

The story goes that the night Ronnie Spector died (“Be My Baby” is my favorite song of all time), I was looking for vintage Ronnie Spector portraits and posters, but couldn’t find any that really spoke to me. Then I realized “you can make one idiot!”

And so, ICONS ONLY was born. The book is a collection of 50 digital portraits of iconic female musicians that have achieved some level of critical and commercial success between 1958 (the year the Billboard Hot 100 began) and April 2022 when the book was first created.

NOTE: this list is not definitive or finite. Expect multiple editions and special inserts in the years to come.
